Details
Originally commissioned for use on Lake Washington, USA, Seattle Slipper was built with a redesigned underwater profile to accommodate her V6 petrol engine, allowing for higher cruising speeds. However, her characteristics make her equally well-suited for river use.
Since returning to the UK in 2009, she has been regularly maintained by us, with annual engine servicing and undercover storage during the winter months. Revarnishing work was carried out in 2020, and her paint and varnish remain in good condition.
With sports-style mahogany seats at helm, a cocktail cabinet and ice locker to port and starboard, and additional seating at stern, all with buttoned leather upholstery, she comfortably accommodates up to 8 people in style. Further interior features include teak floor gratings and an integrated fender stowage compartment at the rear of the stern seat. Her cockpit is fitted with a convertible canopy for all-weather cruising, and she is for sale complete with an overall cover supported on stainless steel hoops and a road trailer.
Seattle Slipper is a strikingly beautiful and unique launch, combining the classic elegance of a traditional Thames slipper launch with upgraded, sportier characteristics. Whether gliding along the gentle waters of the Thames or crusing on inland lakes, she offers an exceptional boating experience.
