Details
Odile was first discovered by Peter Freebody, lying in a very sorry state, on the Macclesfield canal in the early 1980's, and was subsequently brought to our Hurley workshop where she was rebuilt before being refitted with her Belliss steam engine. Further more recent renovation works took place in 2012, and her upholstery was renewed during 2015.
Her fuel source is Calor Gas, making her both convenient and clean to use - steam can be raised in 15 minutes and unlike coal fired engines there is no 'ashing out' to be done at the end of each trip. Odile is an extremely elegant and charismatic launch, and can comfortably seat 12.
