Romney Girl is a spacious 6 berth cabin cruiser built by Tom Jones of Windsor in 1968.
In 2002/3 an extensive refurbishment of her was carried out by ourselves for the current owner. At that time, in addition to cosmetic works and new upholstery and curtains, her interior fit out and domestics were updated - new cooker, fridge, shower etc, Eberspacher heating system and on board charger and shore power connection installed.
Her accommodation from bow to stern comprises of:- Forward cabin - twin bunks with infill for conversion to double berth, hatch above, vanity unit with basin to port; Main saloon - to port low level wardrobe with shelf over, dinette which converts to double berth. To starboard, wc/shower compartment, galley with twin burner gas hob & over, sink and drainage unit with storage cupboard beneath, electric fridge, discreet storage for glassware and crockery incorporated within the galley unit; Wheelhouse - helm seats to port and starboard, additional box seating against aft bulkhead with batteries beneath, access to engines beneath wheelhouse floor, convertible canvas canopy over; Aft cabin - twin bunks, central vanity unit with basin, shelving to starboard and cupboards to port and rear, further storage beneath bunks.
Included in her inventory are custom made mahogany boarding ladder, ensign & staff, Francis chrome plated searchlight, removable mahogany mast with riding light, overall winter cover and lightweight summer cover.
